PACIFIC MARINE MAMMAL CENTER
A rescue and rehabilitation center for sick and injured seals and sea lions. Open daily for visitors from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission free/donations welcomed.
DANA POINT HARBOR
Known as the whale watching capital of the West, Dana Point Harbor offers a variety of boating activities, as well as great dining and shopping. An ideal destination for the entire family.
ORANGE COUNTY ZOO
The Orange County Zoo is nestled in the heart of beautiful Irvine Regional Park. Tucked among coastal live oak and sycamore groves, this eight-acre zoo displays flora and fauna from the southwestern U.S. Whether for a relaxing day spent under the oak trees or a fun and educational excursion, the O.C. Zoo makes a great destination when visiting Orange County.
THE OCEAN INSTITUTE
The mission of the Ocean Institute is to inspire all generations, through education, to become responsible stewards of our oceans. On weekends, the institute is open to the public for a sneak peek into how ocean science, history and literature are used to inspire life-long learning. On weekdays, students participate in innovative and award-winning educational programs.
