Inspired by Italy and made for Montana, Cortina focuses on seasonality and sourcing locally, which brings unique flair to a traditional Italian restaurant. While known for our housemade pasta dishes, we also offer a selection of meats, fish and vegetables from our wood-fired hearth and grille.

We partner with local purveyors to source regionally inspired ingredients, incorporating seasonal produce and embracing wild game, from trout to venison – honoring our Italian culinary traditions.

In the evenings, Cortina offers a refined, yet approachable, dining experience in Big Sky, becoming a favorite neighborhood spot for the Big Sky community to celebrate a special occasion and a must-visit dining destination for resort guests.

To try a selection of menu items, dishes are most commonly served family-style including antipasti, main courses, pastas or side orders to sample an array of our savory Italian cuisine.

Pasta Program

Cortina restaurant is largely influenced by Italian cuisine and culture, with a portion of the menu dedicated to pasta dishes. While this comfort food features fresh, seasonal ingredients, it is the handmade noodles that truly elevate the vibrant flavors. At Cortina, pasta is made fresh daily including our signature pappardelle, chitarra and linguine noodles.
