When you’re ready for adventure, Compass Sports has everything you need from hitting the slopes at Big Sky Resort to chartering expeditions into Yellowstone National Park. Our on-site Compass Sports team provides the local knowledge, guides and gear to take your vacation experience to new heights.

In winter, explore the breathtaking beauty of the great Montana outdoors while cross country skiing, on a snowshoe hike or on a snow cat adventure. During the summer months, venture out on a mountain bike tour, shoot archery, learn the art of fly tying or explore the many other activities the season has to offer.

Compass Explorers

Our team will get your children ready and excited for their big day on the slopes, allowing parents to delight in their own plans while being reassured of their children’s well-being. They will gear up your Explorer with skis or snowboard, boots and snow gear and will personally accompany your Explorer to and from Montage Big Sky and Big Sky Resort’s Mountain Sports School at the Mountain Village Base. Available to resort guests ages 4-18 years old who have morning or afternoon group ski or snowboarding lessons at Big Sky Resort.

$125 per child*

*Price per child is exclusive of tax and service charge and rental equipment fees. Rental equipment must be reserved separately.

Children must have lessons booked with Big Sky Resort’s Mountain Sports School at the Mountain Village Base.
