Paintbox

Our signature Paintbox program blends creativity, play, and learning in a warm, engaging setting. Daily themed activities from winter crafts and baking to snow play and scavenger hunts, inspire imagination and friendship. With full- and half-day sessions, parents can relax knowing their children are immersed in a world of fun designed by Montage’s dedicated recreation team.

Children’s Night Out

While parents enjoy an evening to themselves, our signature Paintbox program will provide care and entertainment for the youngest members of the family. Their night of fun and games features craft projects, a movie screening, popcorn and a delicious dinner selection from our onsite restaurant.

Compass Explorers

Paintbox attendants will get children ready and excited for their big day on the slopes. They will gear up your Explorer with skis, boots and snow gear and will personally accompany your Explorer to and from Deer Valley Ski School at nearby Snow Park Lodge. Available to resort guests ages 3-18 years old who have full day group Ski School reservations in advance. Lift tickets must also be purchased in advance. Advanced reservations are required.

Montage Merits

As a scout, nothing was more rewarding than learning a new craft and being recognized with a badge to wear, proudly demonstrating achievement. Guests at Montage Deer Valley can collect 12 different Montage Merit Badges for a wide range of proficiencies, from catching a fish on fly to scoring a bulls-eye in archery. Upon achievement of all 12 activities, the guest will be awarded with the over-sized, silver ‘Monty’ pin, which signifies that the guest has ‘conquered’ the mountain.

Canine Ambassadors

A family favorite of Montage Deer Valley is the Canine Ambassador program, which features our beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Murphy. They lead the role of bringing joy to all of our guests with daily meet and greets, where they look forward to interacting with everyone and posing for pictures. In keeping with the nature of the Swiss breed, our dog is truly at home in their alpine environment–loving both the snowy winter months and the cool summer breezes.

Greetings take place in the lobby at 11:00am, Monday – Friday.

Story Time
