Montage Hotels & Resorts to Ring in the Holiday Season With Festive Events and Programming

Montage’s holiday-themed offerings include family-friendly arts, crafts, and culinary activities; story readings of holiday favorites; visits from Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their hard-working elves; and Spa Montage wellness programming designed to soothe, heal, and invigorate the soul.

Every Montage property will invite guests to join in the lighting of the Menorah each evening during Hanukkah from Thursday, Dec. 7 to Friday, Dec. 15. All properties will also participate in the annual Mistletoe at Montage, Monday, Nov. 27 through Saturday, Dec. 30. with guests and locals invited to pose for a joyful holiday photo with friends and family under the mistletoe and share it with their followers on social media using the hashtags #MontageMistletoe and #MontageMemory.

Montage Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, California)

From a life-sized gingerbread lifeguard tower to a 55-foot outdoor Christmas tree perched cliffside facing the Pacific ocean, Montage Laguna Beach exudes coastal elegance for the holidays. The flagship Montage property is excited to welcome back its Gingerbread Holiday Display created by resort’s talented culinary and pastry team, this year in the shape of the iconic Main Beach lifeguard tower, an icon of Laguna Beach originally raised in the 1930s, on display in front of The Loft from Monday, Nov. 27 through much of December. Families are invited to show off their creative sides with Gingerbread Decorating Classes and Santa’s Workshops at Paintbox with holiday activities including cookie decorating, ornament making, writing letters to Santa, and story time.

For holiday shoppers, those who book the “Holiday Shopping Escape” offer and are staying in a specialty suite or villa will receive a $500 gift card to the global shopping destination, South Coast Plaza, a personal stylist consultation for up to two guests, and the following amenities: access to the luxury hospitality suite, complimentary valet, a picture with Santa and more. Packages booked in standard suites and guestrooms receive the above amenities without the gift card and stylist.

Kick off the festive season with Afternoon Tea in the Lobby Lounge beginning in early November and a la carte, holiday-inspired specials in The Loft on Christmas Eve, a Dinner Tasting Menu on Christmas Day, and an indulgent Tasting Menu on New Year’s Eve.

Montage Deer Valley (Park City, Utah)

The newly renovated alpine retreat in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah will begin the holiday season with a bustling Thanksgiving Weekend featuring the Annual Turkey Shoot archery lessons, and a seasonal Holiday Bazaar with everything from gifts to apparel to wellness products. The resort will feature two dining offerings on Thanksgiving Day including a Thanksgiving Buffet at Apex and a “Grab & Go” Turkey Dinner including roasted turkey and all the fixings for a decadent dinner at home or in-suite.

Families will find much to enjoy together through the holidays, from dropping a Letter to Santa into the white mailbox in the resort’s Lobby for delivery straight to the North Pole, to Family Tubing Nights at Powder Park with cookies and hot chocolate. The restaurant will also serve an elegant Christmas Day Buffet, as well as Christmas Dinner featuring three courses.

Ring in 2024 with festive four-course prix-fixe New Year’s Eve Dinner at Apex or swing celebratorily into the New Year at Vista Lounge. Meanwhile, young guests can have a celebration all their own with the Paintbox New Year’s Eve Extravaganza.

Montage Los Cabos (Los Cabos, Mexico)

Situated along the shores of Santa Maria Bay, Montage Los Cabos will commence the holiday season with a culinary pop-up on Nov. 24 and 25 from 6 to 9pm. The resort will host Chef Charles Phan of San Francisco’s acclaimed Vietnamese restaurant, The Slanted Door for a two-night experience featuring The Slanted Door´s signature flavors while incorporating the bountiful seafood that Baja California has to offer. Montage Kapalua Bay (Maui, Hawaii)

With its coastal setting and aloha spirit, Montage Kapalua Bay will celebrate the holidays by paying tribute to its Maui ohana with Cultural Classes and Specialty Workshops that dive deep into the Hawaiian culture. The property will kick off the holiday celebrations with a four-course, prix-fixe Thanksgiving Dinner with local inspirations for guests to enjoy at Cane & Canoe, or in the comfort of their residential-style accommodation and will display an “Under the Sea” themed Keiki Christmas Tree in guests’ residences for Christmas.

Celebrate the holiday season in Big Sky, Montana, at the refined western mountain resort framed by the Rocky Mountains.
