Backcast offers a fresh take on mountain dining, inviting guests to gather over bold flavors and sweeping views of the Big Sky landscape. Whether settling in after a day on the trails or lingering poolside as the afternoon light fades, the experience reflects the ease and beauty that define Montana summers. Chef Marc Narongchai of Talay Thai Kitchen in Los Cabos brings a reimagined Thai-inspired menu to the table — wood-fired specialties, traditional curries and comforting soups and noodles with a distinctly alpine sensibility. With intimate bar seating and a warm, unhurried atmosphere, Backcast is the ideal place to sip, savor and take in the scenery. Set at the base of the mountain, Backcast is Big Sky’s natural gathering place from morning through evening. All day dining, craft cocktails and a menu rooted in Southeast Asian tradition make it easy to arrive and even easier to linger — sweeping slopeside views included.
